We are based in Kampala but members of our Executive Committee are pulled from other areas, too.
We started in Kampala at the Makerere University and our Head Coach, Didus Businghe, still trains players there. We also have other clubs but are always keen to see more develop.
Our aim is to become one of the leading VX NGBs in the world and we are making good progress. We are also in discussions with Global VX about hosting the 2024 V2 World Cup.
VX is a sport that gives opportunities to people that they would not get in other, more established sport. It is truly a sport for everybody - it is for all ages and abilities, it is inclusive and males and females compete on an equal basis. .
We are very keen to talk to anyone who can help or who wants to get involved - do you want to play, to coach? Could you help with administration?
We are also keen to talk to any potential sponsors - we are grateful to all those organisations who have sponsored us in the past and made our development possible.
If you wish to get involved or have anything you can offer the sport please contact our President Mr Dickson Niwagaba on president@vxuganda.org
The first VX NGB in Africa
As of May 2022 we now have a dynamic, young Executive Committee to steer VX Uganda through the next four years, hopefully to hosting the V2 World Cup in 2024.
